Life Style Sports has announced the development of its new 120,000 sq ft Distribution Centre, located in the Aerodrome Business Park – west Dublin, is nearing completion ahead of a projected opening in Spring 2022.

The new Distribution Centre will be the first fully carbon neutral facility of its kind in Ireland, and will serve two primary purposes: speedily delivering orders to over 200 countries worldwide via an enhanced e-commerce offering, and quickly replenishing stock in Life Style Sports’ 44 outlets across the island of Ireland. In an exciting development, same-day delivery will now be possible for Irish consumers.

About the new warehouse:

  • Ireland’s first carbon neutral distribution centre.
  • Over 100 robots will automate picking. Each robot picks up to 600 items an hour.
  • Additional €1m investment made in sustainability, including rooftop solar panels and rainwater harvesting.
  • All eCommerce packaging will be cut to exact size to minimise waste.
  • 500% increase in order packing capacity.
  • Electric car and bike charging will be available onsite.
