John Paul Construction has announced the appointment of Liam Kenny as Managing Director. Liam succeeds Eamon Booth, who becomes a non-executive director of the company.
The John Paul Group is primarily involved in construction projects in Ireland and Britain, while it also has operations in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain through an associated company – Absal John Paul Contracting.
Liam joined the company in 2004 and has a strong track record of delivery for global multinational organisations in pharmaceutical, data and logistics as well as in the commercial and residential sectors. He has operated at Director level since 2011 and spent a number of years in the Middle East where he was responsible for the strategic management and growth of associate company Absal Paul.
Commenting, Liam said “I am delighted to take on the Managing Director role from Eamon, who has provided invaluable leadership over many years. John Paul currently employs 350 people and has worked on some of Ireland’s most prestigious projects including the redevelopment of Windmill Lane, Adare Manor, and Pearse Lyons Distillery.
