Ms Governey had held the role on an interim basis since Richard Ball’s departure in March.
She is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and holds degrees from University College Dublin and the London School of Economics.
Prior to joining the group in 2014 Ms Governey worked in the property sector in London.
