Workthere.ie, the flexible, co-working and serviced office brokerage service and website listing platform, has announced the appointment of Carolina Lees.

Carolina’s role in the team as an office space consultant will be to liaise with clients on their office requirements and drive further business.

Workthere.ie is a brokerage platform that helps businesses – of all sizes – find flexible, co-working and serviced office space throughout Ireland.

The platform, which is operated by international real estate advisor, Savills, launched in Ireland and the UK in 2017, and has since expanded its operation to 9 countries around the world, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, New York and Singapore.

Workthere in Ireland has benefited from a surge in demand for flexible office space over the past 2 years and, since 2018, the brokerage platform has facilitated the leasing of over 1,000 desks and doubled its revenue. Workthere Ireland now sits only behind the UK in terms of leasing activity.

Workthere’s expansion into the Irish market in May 2017 was spearheaded by Michael Healy and, in March 2018, Georgina Dillon joined as Team Lead to drive the business forward.

Michael Healy, Director, Workthere & Savills Ireland said “Carolina has 14 years of property industry experience across asset management, leasing and sales. Her experience, integrity and ability to understand her clients’ needs are behind her reputation for results as well as Savills unrivalled, global property expertise and client base.”

“The availability of serviced office space in Ireland has increased exponentially over the last 3 years, especially Dublin, which is not surprising considering the demand from corporate occupiers of all types for fully fitted office accommodation on flexible terms. Business leaders whose companies are growing at 30% pa simply have no interest or time to focus on managing office facilities, preferring to invest all of their time on their people and their success”
